Back Gallery Project

The Back Gallery Project is located in Strathcona. From its early beginnings in the back room of MCG on Granville Street, BGP has continued to show a mix of artists whose work ranges from critical to pop.
Always interested in what local artists are doing, BGP has also presented a number of artists from abroad. BGP focuses on the work of emerging and mid-career artists.

Hot Art Wet City is an art gallery and shop featuring fun and accessible art, interactive events, workshops, seminars and more. Shows themes and styles include pop-culture, low-brow, street, narrative, graphic design, and illustrative. HAWC shows generally don’t require an art history degree to understand what’s on the walls.
